Every great session starts with connection. We’ll chat about your horse’s personality, what makes them special, and the kind of images you want to achieve. From there, we’ll a plan and location perfect for your goals.

Shelbi Nicole Imagery specializes in offering artwork-focused experiences. My goal is to help you create meaningful pieces you can live with and enjoy everyday, rather than adding to the thousands of images already lost in your camera-roll.
Often times, people assume "wall art" means a massive framed piece over the couch, and while this is certainly one option, it's not the only option. Artwork simply refers to anything in printed form. Some clients choose smaller framed pieces for shelves, bedside tables, or an office desk, or even a stack of prints stowed safely away in a presentation box. Others love custom albums because they hold the entire story without needing wall space at all. And others love something smaller in a place they hadn't even considered - even a smaller 18" print will display beautifully in many spaces. The options are truly endless.
Digital files are certainly available, but most clients discover far more value in having something tangible to enjoy long after the session. As an added benefit, every printed image includes the matching digital file complimentary for sharing and safekeeping.
That's entirely up to you! Every client connects with their images differently, choosing artwork that fits their personal space and what feels most meaningful to them.
Your portrait session is reserved with a $295 session retainer, and additional images and/or artwork is purchased separately during your ordering appointment. Some clients choose just a few favorite pieces, while others create larger collections that tell the full story. Most clients invest between $1500-4000 or more depending on the artwork they fall in love with.
My role during your ordering appointment is simply to help guide you through your options and help design something you'll truly enjoy living with.
Once your order is placed, editing usually takes an additional 1-2 weeks depending on the quantity of images purchased. From there, artwork delivery typically takes 3-16 weeks depending on the product, as everything is handcrafted by my vendors and made to order. Local clients can expect hand delivery, while out-of-area clients will receive their pieces drop-shipped directly from the lab with tracking provided.
For hand delivered orders, every piece goes through a thorough quality check before it ever leaves my hands. Drop-shipped orders go directly from the lab to you, so if something arrives damaged or doesn't look right, contact me right away. Sending photos of the issue via email helps speed up the process. While problems are rare, I'm committed to making it right quickly and efficiently.
Your satisfaction is something I take seriously, and while it's never been an issue, I want you to book with complete confidence. If you don't fall completely in love with your images at your ordering appointment, your session fee will be refunded in full. Out-of-area clients will receive their session fee, less $495 to cover time and costs associated with travel. You are never obligated to purchase images you don't love.
Because every artwork piece is fully customized and made to order, orders cannot be refunded once submitted to the lab. Artwork is ordered at the same time your final digital images are delivered, so a refund is not available once your files have been delivered. That said, if something isn't sitting right, reach out and we'll talk through what we can do to make it right. Please note that due to the nature of digital files, refunds will not be granted once editing has begun.
